Hours of work:
Term time
Monday 07:00 hrs - 11:00 hrs
Thursday 09:00 hrs - 11:30 hrs
Friday 09:00 hrs - 11:30 hrs
Saturday 12:30 hrs - 15:00 hrs
School holidays

The Light House comprises a 10-bedroom residential children’s home providing short breaks for disabled children and young people and a suite of offices for the multi-disciplinary staff group working with them.
We are looking for a part-time domestic assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking housekeeping team to provide an exceptional cleaning and laundry service.
The postholder will be:
• Flexible, reliable and conscientious with a positive attitude
• Able to use their own initiative and plan their work
• Able to work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
• Willing to undertake mandatory training of Manual Handling and COSHH
• Understanding of the need for exceptional customer service
Working pattern:
These posts require a degree of flexibility to accommodate service requirements. The building is closed on bank holidays.
As part of our safer recruitment checks the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
All employees will normally be appointed to the minimum of the grade for the job. For reasons connected with a particular need of the Council it may be appropriate, subject to approval, to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade.
Please be aware that where there are staff within the organisation who are 'at risk' of redundancy, requirements to redeploy to another suitable role will apply and take priority.
