The roleThe library hub is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help keep the space organised, welcoming, and engaging for everyone who visits and there is also an opportunity to plan and lead a book group.
You will work independently to tidy shelves and maintain the book stock, chat to visitors about the wider library offer and the benefits of being a member of Derby Libraries.
What we needWe need someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable talking to lots of different people.A friendly and helpful attitude, good communication skills and the ability to file books in alphabetical order and numerical order.
QualificationsNo formal qualifications are required.
