Based in the Physical Activity & Sport Team, Move More Coordinators have two main areas of responsibility. Firstly, involving local people, community groups and partners in a designated locality to support change through co-design, from the way people think, to the introduction of new programmes. Secondly, leading on key themes, working with colleagues and partners to agree approaches, plans and make new relationships. Themed work areas include leading on target audiences, leading on locality specific insight development and facility activation, etc.
You will need to be bold and innovative, have excellent organisational and communication skills to improve communication between the different organisations and the community seeking to improve the way in which service providers work in partnership, improving communication between the different organisations and the community.
