Derby City Council People’s Directorate is seeking a full time Casework Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Social Care and MAT Teams based at Ashtree House.
We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals to work within busy teams providing comprehensive administrative support to social care and MAT staff and Managers.
It is essential that you have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times in the work you will be undertaking. You will act as the first point of contact for incoming calls to the teams, so it is essential that you have good communication skills and are comfortable in speaking to members of the public. You will also be actively involved in the updating of the inhouse systems and once fully knowledgeable of these systems, will assist workers and managers with queries etc. You will need to have a high level of administrative experience in the same or a very similar environment, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
