We are proud of our Award Winning Home First team whose short term support enables customers to maintain or regain their independence to live in their own homes, or whilst having assessment in our integrated Assessment Hubs at Perth House/Arboretum House in Derby city.
We now have opportunities for the position of permanent Mobile and Non Mobile Support Workers to work within our dedicated team.
Working closely with our NHS colleagues, we are responsive to the needs of our customers by supporting the prevention of hospital admission and facilitating hospital discharge.
You'll be supporting our customers to regain and maximise their independence including:
* washing* dressing/undressing* meal preparation support* assistance with taking medication* helping build customers confidence in their day to day activity
You must be able to demonstrate a positive approach with a keen willingness to learn, be self-motivated and enjoy working in a rapid response setting. If you have experience in the care field, ideally possess level 2 in Health and Social Care and share our passion to make a difference - we want to hear from you.

We work on a 4 days on/4 days off rolling rota system.
The working hours are 7.15am to 2.30pm, with every 3rd working week working our afternoon/evening shift from 2.15pm to 10.00pm.
The position is for an average 25 hour weekly contract. Additional hours are available but not guaranteed.
For the Mobile position - You would need to be a car or motorcycle user with a vehicle available for business use. A mileage allowance is paid.
