Safeguarding Adults and Professional Standards Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to be appointed in the Adult Safeguarding and Professional Standards Team at Derby City Council.
The post will be integral in ensuring that we deliver excellence in all of our professional practice across Adult Social Care. Derby City Council is committed to delivering greater choice and control and community led support to all adults in need of care and support in the City.
The post holder will manage the ongoing development of the Multi- Agency Safeguarding Hub ensure that Making Safeguarding Personal is at the heart of all safeguarding practice in Derby. We have ambitious plans for our Safeguarding service and are currently carrying out an options appraisal, which the successful candidate will be involved in implementing the preferred option.
The post holder also presently has responsibility for the management of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards service.
The Team which you will lead is friendly and supportive. It also takes great pride in helping to drive, implement and support excellence in practice so that Adult Social Care is the best it can be for all the Citizens of Derby.
