Derby Live Catering supplies Catering & Bar provision for Derby Arena, Guildhall Theatre, outdoor events in Derby City & at the Orangery Café & Ice Cream Kiosk at Markeaton Park.
You will be required to work predominantly in the Orangery Café, Ice Cream Kiosk, & Outdoor Events at Markeaton Park. Plus other venues as required.
Your duties will include Opening & Closing of the Café & Kiosk, running shifts, serving Customers, cash, stock & premises security, ordering, cooking & food preparation, Supervising & training of staff.
You must have recent Supervisory experience working in Catering and/or a Café/Restaurant and/or Commercial kitchen.
You must be numerate & literate with a good standard of general education and be able to prove your experience in training & leading staff.
You must be able to use your own initiative, & work under pressure, being able to work in a fast paced environment, always adhering to Derby Live policies & procedures.
A current Level 2 in Food safety training is essential. Level 3 in Food Safety, either in- house or college based is advantageous. You should be able to demonstrate current Food safety knowledge at interview level.
You must be available to work weekends and some evenings & have a flexible approach to working hours.
You must be able to travel to different locations within Derby Live.
You must be 18+ years of age to comply with Licensing Laws to work in a Bar.
