The Council's Leisure, Culture and Tourism department directly manages a range of sport, leisure and cultural facilities across the city with a mission to provide Derby citizens and visitors with a more active and improved quality of life by delivering a quality experience in sports centres, performing arts venues, libraries, parks, community centres, the arts and at outdoor events, whilst also supporting Derby Museums Trust.
We're looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our friendly, busy leisure and culture marketing team. Whilst some experience is essential, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop and refine your marketing skills as part of a larger team.
You'll oversee all distribution and print and digital displays, and assist the rest of the team in delivering the full marketing mix including website content management, social media, e-mail and direct mail, advertising, PR and media and design.
You'll be customer-focussed and commercially-minded with a creative outlook and good organisational skills. We need someone who's self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and flexible with an interest in the leisure and culture sector.
