Job description
Directorate: Communities and Place
Hours: 14.75 hours a week - Set hours Saturday 9:45-18:15 & Sunday 8:45-14:00) with the option of additional hours depending on service needs
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Springwood Leisure Centre
We are seeking to appointment a Health and Wellbeing advisor (gym instructor) to cover the needs of the service.
Duties
include:
• Delivery of one-to-one sessions and personal exercise programming for members from a wide demographic
• Delivery of Your Plan appointments as part of the membership retention strategy
• Engage with and interact with members on the gym floor encourage health exercise habits, participate in gym challenges and try new equipment/exercises
• Ensure that the gym is a safe place for all users and is presented to a high standard
• Delivery of indoor cycling classes and other fast classes as part of your shift cover or to gain qualification within confirmation of post
• Deliver sales tours around the facility which promote the service tailored to the individuals needs
