We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist / Administrator to join our established team, who are committed to delivering excellent services, working in Family Hubs and Children’s Centres across Derby City.
Family Hubs are the latest initiative from Government, the Department of Education and Department for Health and Social Care who are working together to support families with children and young people 0-19, (up to 25 for SEND) to access the right services, in the right place, at the right time.Children's Centres are also at the heart of Derby City Council's Early Intervention Strategy and provide support and services to young children and families.
Family Hubs and Children’s Centres are crucial to the delivery of services for families to enable children to get the best possible start in life.
We have 1 vacancy for 24 hours for a Receptionist / Administrator to provide reception and general administration support within Family Hubs and Children’s Centres including meeting and greeting visitors, handling telephone enquiries, dealing with post, supporting data gathering and monitoring systems, as well as other clerical duties.
Essential criteria for the post:
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent.• Experience of general clerical duties including knowledge and experience of various Microsoft IT packages• Experience of dealing with the public and telephone enquiries.
The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be approachable, friendly, and self-motivated with a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
