Salary: Grade E £26,835 - £28,624 a year
Location: Stores Road Depot
Hours: 37 hours a week

Derby City Council (DCC) is offering the opportunity for an arborist to join our expanding team of experienced arborists. Currently we provide a wide range of arboricultural and plant healthcare
services from our depot within the City of Derby to the residents and business owners of Derby City.

In the role of Arborist, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- Carrying out a full range of Arboricultural operations including tree removals, pruning, planting and health care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
Applicants should have experience in all aspects of tree work, planting, and plant healthcare. A full driving license is essential along with all relevant NPTC qualifications. A good sound knowledge of tree identification and specific species care would be beneficial.
Applicants should be committed to preserving and enhancing the urban treescape and parkland areas as well as development of their own skills and knowledge. Staff will be expected to interact with communities daily. The successful candidate will be expected to have safe, positive, polite and diplomatic personal skills.
