Are you an experienced business engagement professional with a proven track record in supporting employers to implement inclusive recruitment practices that remove barriers to application and enable employers to successfully recruit their talent.
If so, Derby City Council has an exciting opportunity for you to work collaboratively with a range of HR professionals, social value managers and recruiters across the city, to create opportunities such as work placements, training into employment programmes, internships and carved jobs, to enable young people with health conditions and/or other disadvantaged groups such as care leavers to enter and thrive in the workplace.
The role will look to change the culture of recruitment across the city, collaborating with employers creating unique programmes offering opportunities to enter the workplace and brokering support to increase the inclusive recruitment offer to our priority cohorts.
These two roles will sit within a busy Business Engagement Team, where inclusive employment is core to delivery across a range of projects.
