Are you an experienced, ambitious and dynamic employment and skills professional with a proven track record in the initiation, development, co-ordination and execution of impactful projects working with employers and providers?
If so, Derby City Council has an interesting opportunity for you to contribute to the efforts the city is making collectively to support the on-going unemployment and skills challenge.
You will have a specific focus on business engagement and the coordination and delivery of partnership projects that support the local economy; facilitating a ‘match’ between our people and the skills needs of our local economy. You will work collaboratively with local and regional strategic partners and providers to coordinate projects to best utilise provision and funding to meet the skills and employment needs of the city; both residents and business. This includes how we best utilise our Apprenticeship levy fund.
